Festivals and Special Days
The School celebrates some of the major religious festivals of India, like Vinayaka Chathurthi, Ramzan, Navarathri, Christmas and Pongal. Children are taught the cultural importance of these festivals. Special guest are invited to speak to the children. To bring in the festive spirit, displays are set up, children perform cultural programmes; prayers are held; and gifts are distributed appropriate for the occasion.
Special Days like World AIDS Day, World Human Rights Day Anti Drug Day, World Population Day, International Senior Citizens Day, U.N.O. Day, National Youth Day, National Science Day, International Women’s Day and Helpers’ Day, and National Days like Independence Day, Republic Day, Children’s Day, Teacher’s Day are observed to educate the children on their relevance.
Children are encouraged to learn about these Special Days researching various media and are motivated to organise the programmes.
Competitions are held on the topic of the Day to encourage quality performance.
School conducts Investiture Ceremony, and celebrates Founder's Day, Sports Day, Project Day, Annual Day and Graduation Day
