In the Higher Secondary School we have a mix of children from Vedavalli Vidyalaya and other Schools. Quite a number of students from other Schools enroll in Class XI. As the students begin to mingle, they experience serious differences in their culture, communication, learning style, and the relationship between genders and the teacher and the taught. We use this as an opportunity to teach our children to accept differences, tolerate them, be kind and compassionate and help build healthy relationships amongst themselves, between the sexes and between adults and children.

The induction programme into the higher secondary course is run with the help of experts to create an atmosphere of understanding among all students. The School organizes a variety of workshops to build life-skills required for adulthood. Effective communication, Leadership, First aid, Career guidance, How to be Successful in exams, Coping with stress and Decision making are some of the topics covered for them by experts. To broaden their knowledge and understanding of work situations, they are encouraged to visit industries and interact with people there. They get opportunities to interact with visitors who come from different professions. Alumni of the School also offer career guidance in their fields.
