Smt. C.R. Sahtyabhama, an eminent educationalist and a Trustee of the Akshaya Vidya Trust was of immense help in developing the programmes of the Vedavalli Vidyalaya Schools. From 1994 to 2008, this ever-fresh and smiling septuagenarian interacted constantly with the management members and teachers to drive the Mission of the School. She believed that the teaching profession is a glorious and noble one and spent all her sixty years of her working life in enabling teachers to do their best for the children. To honour her passion for teaching and to keep her memory alive we organize an Annual Seminar on an important topic that is relevant for teachers.
